Daily Heartfelt Prayer #31


Psalm 46:7, The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Heavenly Father, You Are The Lord of hosts and our confidence is in You. Because of Your grace and mercy, we live, move, and have our being. Without You Lord, we can do nothing. And so we say Thank You for our life, health & strength, our needs being met, as well as abundance and favor. And because You Are The Lord of hosts, we ask by faith for the heavenly angels to go and rescue those who are helpless. Lord, let Your name be glorified in the midst of the situation. Lord, draw sinners to Christ. Cause us all to see Your amazing love for us. Lord, Heal the sick. Open blinded eyes. Tear down the hearts filled with pride, and exalt those who humble themselves to Your will. Heavenly Father, as Your grace abounds more and more, continue to strengthen our faith resolve to love one another as You commanded us, and pray for our enemies. Lord, Expose wickedness and evil doers across our nation and our cities. Lord, Avenge the innocent, and rebuke the devourer as we honor Your call to live holy. Heavenly Father, we repent and turn away from our sins, and for any words we’ve spoken that did not please You. Lord, we give You permission to clean our hearts completely, and renew a right spirit on the inside. Lord, we acknowledge that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Now we look with faith and expectation for The Light of Your Word illuminating our path, and the Holy Spirit teaching us and giving us clear direction so we fully accomplish the will of God. And we Thank You Heavenly Father for giving us all these precious promises in Jesus Christ. And all the glory and praise belongs to You Oh God. And it’s in Jesus’ name we pray, asking and believing by faith. Amen. – Pastor Mike Reed

Lord, I thank you for this day. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to give you praise and glory. Father, our prayer is that you watch over and protect those effected by Hurricane Harvey. We pray those in the mist of this storm they seek you for guidance and refuge. We lift up all the teachers, students and staff starting a new school year. Bless them Heavenly Father. Protect the school campuses from any hurt, harm or danger. We thank you for all that you have done and all that you are about to do. And it’s in Jesus name we pray. Amen. – Jamila

UVCF: Sending relief / Tonight @ 7pm CST

As you may already know, Hurricane Harvey has affected the residents of the City of Houston, as well as surrounding cities. Many families have been displaced from their homes, and are in desperate need of things that You and I enjoy everyday like food, clothing, and shelter. Beloved, this is our opportunity to rise to the occasion and send relief to those who, in many cases, have lost everything due to the hurricane. Therefore, tonight, this Wednesday, we will not only be praying for Houston, but we will also be hosting a Special Conference Call at 7pm CST to gather relief funds to send financial aid to help the families, children, and the elderly in this time of need. (More details tonight)

So plan to join me on the call, tonight, WED. / August 30th @ 7pm CST. Get the word out. Let your friends and family know that they too can join UVCF Church in helping to render aid to those affected by this devastating hurricane. Heavenly Father, we come humbly to You God this morning to thank You for another day and opportunity to magnify the name of Jesus. We take this time to bless and worship Your Holy Name. We Thank God for life, health and strength. We Thank You Lord for salvation. We Thank You for deliverance, for grace, for mercy for peace and joy. We Thank You for being our protector, healer, comforter, and our provider. We Thank You for just being our friend and continuously being there for us. We Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us. We Thank You for loving us enough to chastise us. We Thank You for the power of the Holy Ghost that leads us and guides us into all truth. We thank You for Your word. We Thank You for shelter, for the clothes on our back, for the food You provide for our family each and everyday. We Thank You for the people You have placed in our lives to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, that they may come to know him and His saving grace. Lord, if we had ten thousand tongues, we could not say Thank You enough. Yet we choose to thank You and bless Your Holy Name all the days of our lives. And it’s in Jesus name we pray. Amen. – Rachel

Daily Heartfelt Prayer #28

Heavenly Father, You Are The God of all creation, The God of heaven and earth. And in the midst of the storm, we yet give You thanks and put our complete trust in You Oh Lord. Now Lord, we ask by faith that You extend Your mercy to the City of Houston and other cities affected by the hurricane and the flood. Heavenly Father, we pray for Your protection and favor be upon the righteous. Holy Spirit, give strength to the residents and all those who are helping to rescue the young, the elderly, the poor, the hungry, the destitute, and those without food & shelter. Lord, we confess Your Name is Jehova-Jireh and are able to provide sufficient aid and support necessary to meet all the needs of those in desperate situations. Lord, we repent and confess our sins and turn away from all ungodliness, to seek what pleases You Oh God, that You may bring healing to our cities, states, and our nation. Holy Spirit, give us Your plan, Your purpose and Your direction in this season. And may Your Name be glorified in all that we do in Jesus’ name. Amen. – Pastor Mike Reed

Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for sending Jesus to endure the cross on Calvary. And according to Your word, Jesus Christ has already paid the price for our healing. So we speak to every infection, illness, sickness, disease in the physical body and the mind, and by the authority and dominion given to us by God since the beginning, we exercise our spiritual authority and we uproot everything contrary to God’s perfect will in our mind, body and soul, and we cast them all out in Jesus’ name. We confess by faith that we are healed and have complete peace, soundness and wholeness in our minds and our physical bodies today in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask that You forgive us of all sin, as we forgive others who have wronged us. Lord, we ask for Your special favor and direction for our personal health and well-being from this day forward. Holy Spirit, Lead us, guide us and strengthen us to do Your will so we enjoy Your promise of abundant life. And we praise and magnify You in advance for giving us total victory, so You alone are glorified in Jesus’ name. Amen. – Pastor Mike Reed

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge You as being head of my life. I agree with Your word concerning my marriage and will submit to my husband as he submits to You. God I confess by faith that I effectively communicate with my husband and that my words heal and do not bring harm to my husband, our marriage nor our household. Give me the words to say and teach me how to speak to my husband with kindness and not anger for Your word says to listen and be slow to speak and slow to anger. I decree and declare that my husband and I have a healthy marriage and communicate with each other out of love. In Jesus’ name, Amen. – Lady Sumetra Reed
