This time last year, we were unable to be close to family and friends due to the pandemic. However, because change has come, many of us will have the opportunity today to spend special time with some of our family, friends and loved ones once again. For this, our God is worthy to be recognized and appreciated for this wonderful blessing. Although some may find this day filled with joy and happiness, and others may find this day challenging for different reasons, may we be reminded that this is still the day The Lord has made, and rejoicing and being glad in it is a choice. So before we rush to fill our plates with food, may we all share a moment of blessing with someone and give God thanks for the good things He has done. Let’s choose to be thankful.
