To Our Worldwide Faith Partners,

On behalf of the UVCF Church Family, for Quarter 2, we’d just like to say THANKS to all of our friends and faith partners around the world in Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Norway, India, Ecuador, and the United States. We cannot express how much we sincerely appreciate your love for us. Because of your faith, prayers, and financial support, we have been able to realize our vision for various ministries and projects at UVCF Church. And as the 2nd quarter of 2016 comes to a close, we are yet receiving testimonies of God’s goodness here locally and abroad. Therefore, we take time now to speak blessings over you, that you may continue growing in Christ, and experience God’s abundant favor in your life. Finally, we say THANKS again and we hope you continue partnering with our church, as we spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Continue to walk by faith, and we do pray God’s grace be upon you to do His purpose and His will for your life. May God bless you all in the name of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

Fasting & Praying: Day #6

Hebrews 9:14, How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (NIV)

Father God in Heaven, You are Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord Our Righteousness. I confess  Jesus Christ is the only one who’s sacrifice could be counted worthy atone for all of my sins. And because I believe by faith in the finished work of Jesus’ death on the cross, I confess in the power of God to cleanse my conscience mind of any acts of sin that invites death into my spirit, my body, or my soul. For I know that satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy the abundant life that God desires me to have. And so by faith, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my mind today. Even though I may not understand how God is working in my life, I choose to lay down my will, and I trust and obey my God of Righteousness. Now because my mind has been cleansed, I know that I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and I use my Kingdom authority take back authority over my mind, my choices, my feelings, and my understanding. I decree and declare that I have the power to think new thoughts. I have power to walk as a new creature in Christ. I choose to follow in Jesus’ footsteps. I only go where the Holy Spirit instructs me to go. And I only do what the Holy Spirit directs me to do. For when I walk by faith, I know that I am pleasing The Lord. Now Heavenly Father of Mercy and Love, we forgive everyone in my life who acted out of hate, jealously, pride, and selfishness – causing us to be hurt. For we release them today, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to heal every broken heart. And as we forgive them, we apologize for our own acts of hate, jealously, pride, and selfishness that caused us not to walk in love toward others. Now that we turn back to You Heavenly Father, we look with great expectation and hope for the promise of Your holy presence to consume our hearts today. Yes Lord! Consume our hearts. Consume our minds. Fill our lives with Your presence, that we may have joy and gladness on the inside. Lord thank You for declaring us righteous. Thank You for hearing our prayer this morning. For Your Grace is Amazing. Your Love is Unfailing. You Are Excellent in All Your Ways. In everything we do, be glorified forever, in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Fasting & Praying: Day #5, Healing & Deliverance

Philippians 3:12-14, I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,d but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (NLT)

Father God in Heaven, You Are Perfect and Holy in all Your ways. For every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Your Son, Jesus Christ is Lord. Now let Thy will be done in my life today. Lord, You know my past. You know the issues that have bruised my heart, and caused me pain. And as I seek to reach for perfection in You, I pray that You encourage my heart so that I do not fall – that I might be courageous to walk by faith in the perfection that You have called me to in Christ Jesus. Speak the word and I will listen to hear Your voice. Let Your heavenly angels sing a song that my soul might rejoice and my spirit may receive great strength. For my desire is to bless Your Holy Name with all that is within me. And so by faith, I humble myself to do Your will, and to obey Your word. By faith, today I choose to let go of the things in my past that have brought me pain, and I press forward, looking to Christ, Who is able to heal all who are broken hearted, Who is the Author and Finisher of my faith. Because I know You are able to finish the work that You started in me, although I may not look perfect right now, my trust and my hope is that You are able to use everything I’m going through to perfect everything that is concerning me. Thank You God for giving me the courage to get back up again. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me the strength to stand. And now I praise and magnify Your Name Oh God. For only You are able to keep me from falling, and to present me faultless before the presence of Your glory, with exceeding joy. You Are The Only Wise God our Savior. All the glory and all the honor belongs to You, Our God Jehovah. For Your Kingdom reigns forever and ever. And Your love for me is unfailing. Thank You Heavenly Father for all these blessings in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let’s GROW Today!

Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Today, let’s GROW by asking ourselves a few questions.

Are there areas in my life that are on the wrong course, because I was not careful to guard my heart at a younger age? What am I learning from this? Am I aware of the things that are currently choking my growth potential spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and emotionally?  Do I believe I’m worth more than what I allow myself to settle for year after year? Am I not walking in the greatness God has called me to, because I’m letting my will get in the way of God’s will for my life? How much longer will I allow my past issues to choke out the better part of destiny that God had planned for me?  (2 Cor.5:17, Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become [NEW].) [emphasis added]
