As we welcome our new members into the UVCF Church family, we ask that each member of UVCF take a moment to pray this brief prayer in agreement with our new members as they Pray On Purpose today. Please pray this prayer with us:
Our Father, which art in heaven, we thank You for adding these precious saints into our church. We acknowledge You to be The Lord of Our Purpose. And so, we believe now by faith as we pray in agreement with the new members of UVCF that Your divine purpose for their lives shall be revealed and that they shall receive Your direction as they commit themselves to trust in You by faith, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thank you for taking time to pray in agreement with us. We are believing by faith, having full assurance that they shall receive God’s promises of purpose and direction. At UVCF Church, we walk in abundance. And because God has made us to be lenders to the poor, our hearts are glad to know that God has given us this opportunity to host our First Annual Summer Community Festival where we will give to those in need. Yes. Our abundance has now become a supply for those who are in need. And so Pastor Mike & First Lady Reed ask that you begin making preparations to bring any of your gently used clothing items, shoes, hand bags, back packs, jewelry, and any small appliances that you may desire to give away. We will be collecting the items in the month of July in preparation for our First Annual Summer Community Festival.
Please be in prayer for this event, our coordinators, and all those who be participating to help make this event possible. It is our desire to make a positive impact in our immediate neighborhood community to reach the lives of those in need. God’s wonderful grace to you. Be revived & refreshed in Jesus’ name. Acts 2:46-47, And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
As we have purposed to seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness, God has now manifested the promise of adding new members to our church. And so as we welcome and celebrate them into our church family, we ask that you take a moment of your pray time to pray in agreement with them according to Matt. 18:19-20, during this week that God reveal His divine purpose for their lives during the next 7 days. Psalm 133:1 says, Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
My brother and my sister, you should all rejoice in knowing that your love for the saints has touched the hearts of so many. My spirit truly rejoices in seeing how we all came together to serve and worship the Lord together. What a tremendous honor it was to oversee such a wonderful occasion. Today, I continue to rejoice as I recall how God’s commanded blessing continues to rest upon us for the purpose of unifying in love so that we might build His kingdom. And so I appreciate each of you and commend you all, from the youngest to the oldest, those who attended this unforgettable service, to those who prepared the very colorful and delicious buffet for our dinner fellowship following the service, to all those who simply served with a grateful heart. Because of our love for one another, I do believe God is smiling. Beloved, I encourage you all to continue with this kind of love and generous heart so that we might have more occasions such as this to bring glory to God’s name. Once again, we thank God for giving us this amazing day to share and by God’s grace, it shall never be forgotten. Thanks again for being a part of this memorable event, and we look forward to coming together in faith and fellowship – worshiping our Savior & Lord Jesus Christ.
