Living The Gospel of Jesus Christ on Purpose

A Prayer for God’s Protection / Let us pray…

Psalm 91:9-12, Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Heavenly Father, You Are The Lord of Hosts. And we Thank You Lord for giving Your angels in heaven charge over us, to watch over and protect us each day. Because we know it is Your will for us to fulfill our Kingdom purpose and assignments, we take authority now in Jesus’ name and rebuke all accidents and fatalities for every member of UVCF CHURCH. Lord, we ask that You send Your heavenly angels to go before us and behind us as we travel each day. Lord, protect our spouses, our children, our families, and all things concerning us. Lord bless us and give us the vigilance we need to navigate our vehicles in difficult situations and challenging road conditions. Heavenly Father, we bless You today for lifting up the standard against the enemy, for not allowing satan’s plan to work – for sparing our lives, and blessing us to see another day that was not promised. For we are Your children Oh Lord, and are blessed to be able to testify and declare Your wonderful works among men. And so Lord, we say Thank You, and we give You all the praises, all the glory, all the honor for all these blessings we ask by faith in Jesus’ name. Amen.

DAY 5: Corporate Fasting

2 Corinthians 4:17-18, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Heavenly Father, You Are The Almighty God, King of Kings, Jehova-Shalom, Alpha and Omega, The Author and Finisher of our Faith. Because we love You Oh Lord, and are called according to Your purpose, we are loved by You so much, that You cause all things to work together for our good. And so no matter the trial or test of faith we may be going through, we say Thank You Lord. Heavenly Father, we declare we by faith we are victorious in times of testing in Jesus’ name. No matter what we’re going through, we will walk by faith and not by sight. Lord, give us a fresh revelation on the seasons and times of our trials so we may be anchored in Jesus in these perilous times, and are able to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of The Lord. Heavenly Father, we lift up our heads to toward heaven today, and we wait patiently for Your help, Your strength and the power of The Holy Spirit who enables us to live a Holy a separated life in this present world. Thank Your Lord for Your refreshing presence in our lives. Thank You for the personal conversations You had with us this week. And we will honor and glorify You Oh Lord. Now we bless Your Name Oh God, and give You all the praise and glory for all these blessings we ask and believe by faith are already done, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

DAY 4: Corporate Fasting

James 4:5-8, Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Heavenly Father, Your Name Is El Shaddai, You Are God Almighty. Because You Are The God Who Changes Not, we have not been consumed by the enemy and utterly overtaken. For this we say Thank You Lord. Thank You for being merciful to our unrighteousness. Thank You for being faithful and providing for us and our families even when we were unfaithful. Today Lord, we ask that forgive us. We repent so we can receive the refreshing presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord forgive us for not submitting to authority, for not obeying Your word, for not giving the tithes and offerings that belong to You, for not humbling ourselves in prayer. Because we know it is Your will for us to receive the power of God, the Holy Spirit, to live in the overflow of blessings, to be victorious in effectual prayer. And so we pray Your will be done in our lives. Lord, we repent today. Show us where we are not submitting to You with our whole heart. Lord, Make us aware of where we are not accessing the power and authority over the devil because we are failing to submit. Lord, test the faith of those who yet trust in their finances. Teach us how to walk by faith and not by our finances. Lord, remove the cravings of our old life. Remove the carnal desires for the things You have delivered us from and shall deliver us from. Increase our appetite more and more for spiritual things. Lord, we open our hearts to receive the spiritual manna until our appetite is made new – until we desire more and more Your Word, and more of Your presence. Heavenly Father, our faith is in You and we know we have the things we ask in prayer because we make our requests according to Your will by faith in Jesus’ name. We Thank You in advance for answered prayer today. And we give You all the praise and glory for these things being done in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
