Tonight, we’re going to grow in the knowledge of God’s word in a new way. We’re featuring an activity we’ll call…
>> PICTURE THE SCRIPTURE
You’ve heard it said, A picture is worth a thousand words.” That’s right! We are drawing the word of God.
This strategy is a great study technique to help people of all ages learn the word of God in a fresh way to retain it & know it by heart. So gather the family. Get a good pencil, some clean paper, and your Bible. And let’s get started.
Our focus passage for this evening is:
>> MATTHEW 25:1-13
>> Read it carefully. Meditate on it. Then plan how you will picture the scriptures. (Don’t try to be Picasso. You just be you and draw what you read in the scriptures. Yes. Stick figures are allowed.) Remember, you are not drawing for me. You are drawing so you have a good picture of what God’s word says.
>> Submit pictures to our church email: uvcfchurch@gmail.com & we will feature them this coming Sunday.
