Are You Choosing to Live?

As we learned from the most recent sermon by Pastor Mike entitled, Choosing To Live, according God’s word in Deuteronomy 30:19, Our Father in Heaven has set before us life and death, and we are exhorted by God to choose life.  And because we know that God wants what is best for us, without a doubt, we must conclude that life is the better choice.  However, laying hold to God’s promise of life will require our obedience to His word.  Therefore, so that we might come to know the blessings of making the choice to live, I have provided some scripture passages below for you to study in your own devotional time.  However, I have also provided the scriptures that outline the curses for making the choice not to live.  Yes. Beloved, if there are blessings for obeying God, then there will be consequences for disobeying Him also.  But because God loves us so much, He has given us instructions so that we all might live life abundantly.  And so I encourage you to take time to pray, read, jot down notes, and meditate on these verses in a bible translation that is easy for you to understand.  Making this investment into your spirit man will be priceless!  With that said, I pray that you continue to walk by faith, choosing life, and expecting God’s best to happen for you.  Be revived & refreshed in Jesus’ name.
