1 Corinthians 4:1-2, Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Heavenly Father, You Are Holy. You are Righteous. And You Are Faithful. Lord, You faithful to every promise in Your word. Lord, You have been faithful to us, when we have not been faithful to You. For when we needed food, clothing and shelter, Lord, You provided. When we were sick and our bodies were in pain, You healed us. When we were in danger, You rescued us. When friends walked away, You were still there. When we lost our direction, You helped us find our way. So Lord we bless You for always being faithful, loving and kind to us. And now Lord, we confess our sins, for not being faithful to You oh God. Lord, we repent and we ask in Jesus’ name that the blessings of the Kingdom of heaven fill our hearts, that we come to know we are ministers of Christ, and live as faithful stewards in everything we do. We ask in faith, believing for the refreshing presence of the Holy Spirit to help us in the area of our faithfulness. Lord, strengthen us to be faithful when we don’t feel like it. Holy Spirit, show us how to put our feelings in check when faithfulness is required to serve effectively. Lord, give us the strength to press our way when times are difficult. Lord, give us the courage to rebuke the enemy at every turn, so our blessings are not hindered or delayed because of our unfaithfulness. Lord we pray this grace for faithfulness be upon us exceeding abundantly for this year, and that as we all grow in Christ and mature as saints of The Most High God, that we are able to teach others also through our demonstration and that the favor on our life will compel people young and old to be faithful in Jesus’ name. Lord we thank You for the fellowship of believers in the household of faith. We thank You for the faith we have received and giving us a heart to be in fellowship with the saints, and for the blessings we have as members of the body of Christ. We pray now Lord that You continue to give us fresh ideas, new strategies and innovative approaches that inspire more and more opportunities for Christian fellowship among the saints and those You are calling to be saved in Jesus’ name. And Lord we ask that You make us more accountable, accountable to Your word and accountable to the saints who are a hedge of protection for us in Jesus’ name. Lord, Nourish us with Your word to build our faith. Bless us with faith partners in our church and surround us with Christian friends who are saved, who trust in Your word above their own hearts, and believe in the blessing of mutual accountability. Lord, bless us with friends who we can trust to speak the truth in love, who will not condemn us should we fall, or make a mistake, but who will be there to help restore us in the spirit of meekness because they truly desire to see nothing hindering us from going to our next level in You God – living out our purpose to glorify You Oh Lord. Lord give us the grace to live according to Your will so that we can be an example to the next generation. We pray these blessings be upon us, our children and our children’s children, so they too can know and experience the blessings of God’s protection and favor that comes with true accountability among the saints, and the hedge of protection for them in Jesus’ name. Lord, we even pray now that the powerful message of Your love and grace at work in our lives ministers to those outside the four walls of our sanctuary, so people in the world may see the love we have for one another, and be compelled by the love of God to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We pray that this year be a year we receive a fresh stirring in our spirit, a revival to faithfulness on a new level, a revival in our hunger for fellowship like never before, and a commitment to be accountable as saints of The Most High God, so that we keep our lamps trimmed and burning to do Your will, and are found faithful in all that we do – even until the Jesus Christ our Lord returns. Lord, Your Name is Jehova-Jireh. These promises are in Your will. And we live in expectation of receiving all these blessings, because You made these promises, we believe You are faithful to Your promises. And so we praise Your Faithful Name in advance, and we give you all the glory and honor for these things we confess are done now in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
